Working in public relations in the South West gives me opportunity to celebrate and share what is great about our region.
With a range of clients from a host of industries, it’s my job to spread word of what their businesses are about and the work they’re doing within their local communities.
One of the things I find most gratifying is the passion shown by those living and working in the region in supporting other local businesses, whether it’s in times of hardship or a commitment to buy local products and services.
From businesses owners who give up their time to mentor future generations to the charitable contributions they make, it’s an undertaking we should all be proud of and continue to promote.
As we ditch the old calendar to make way for the new, its time to start planning for the year ahead.
And with so much going on we’ve compiled our Top 10 list of not-to-be-missed events across the South West in 2016.
Happy New Year.
